Publisher Vidim Books declared an “undesirable” organization
Today, Russia’s Justice Ministry added the independent book publisher Vidim Books — our longtime friends and colleagues — to its registry of “undesirable” organizations.
Masha Slonim, Lyudmila Petrushevskaya, Dmitry Glukhovsky, Vera Polozkova, and Linor Goralik are just a few of the authors whose books have been published by Vidim Books. We stand with our colleagues and remind readers that the best way to support any publisher is to buy and read books.
Just recently, Vidim Books opened preorders for singer Monetochka’s book “Docs #1.” Support them by preordering the book.

Another way to support both Vidim Books and Meduza’s publishing house is to buy our colleagues’ books at Magaz: there you’ll find Boris Belenkin’s “Memorial: The Stolen Home,” Dmitry Glukhovsky’s “We: A Diary of the Fall,” and Vera Polozkova’s “Lost and Found.”
