Peskov says transit of Russian gas to Europe through Ukraine is impossible for now

The Kremlin spokesperson commented on a Wall Street Journal article reporting that the US is promoting the idea of resuming supplies of Russian gas to Europe through Ukraine.

“It is hardly possible to talk about this for now. The situation on the ground speaks more than eloquently to the impossibility of implementing such plans at present. But we will see what happens in the future,” Peskov said, as quoted by TASS.
