Putin arrived in Ulan-Ude — already the fourth city in less than three weeks. Before that, for several months, he had hardly traveled to the regions

In the capital of Buryatia, Putin will hold a meeting of the presidium of the State Council of the Russian Federation on public transport development issues.

This is already the fifth city the president has visited since the beginning of the year (and the fourth in the past two and a half weeks), not counting Moscow and St. Petersburg. Before that, Putin visited Kazan, Irkutsk, Omsk, and Krasnoyarsk.

After Ulan-Ude, Putin may travel to Novosibirsk. Local media are writing about this, noting that in the city center they have begun urgently relaying asphalt, laying lawns, repairing sidewalks, and fixing building facades.
