The Ozon Bank app was removed from Google Play

The Ozon Bank app has been removed from Google Play, Verstka noticed. When trying to open the app store via this link, a “page not found” message appears.

Searches using various keywords also return no results, and the bank’s website no longer has a direct download link for Google Play. At the same time, the app is still available in the App Store for Apple devices.

The day before, the Yandex Pay app disappeared from the App Store, the company reported. Yandex’s other apps are still available on both platforms, as are Wildberries apps for customers and for business.

🟦Earlier in July, the European Union imposed sanctions on a number of Russian financial organizations. They included the subsidiary banks of Yandex, Wildberries, Ozon, and MTS, as well as Post Bank (now part of VTB Bank), Modul Bank, and Tochka Bank.

🟦The operator of the Zolotaya Korona money transfer system, Payment Center, was also placed under restrictions, after which the option to transfer funds from Russia to Georgia and a number of other countries disappeared. NKO Mobile Card, the operator of Unified TsUPIS, which Russian bookmakers use for settlements, was also sanctioned.
