The dating Telegram bot Daivinchik has been banned in Kazakhstan
The decision was issued by a court in Almaty at the request of a prosecutor from one of the city's districts, Tengrinews reports. The main reasons for the ban were the lack of mechanisms to verify users' ages and a threat to the safety of minors, the outlet writes.
At the end of July, the dating bot Daivinchik made news in Russia. This happened after the FSB reported accusations of assisting terrorist activity.
One of the reasons for this was Daivinchik itself, through which, according to the Russian investigation, Ukrainian special services recruit underage Russians for sabotage and terrorist attacks. We covered this chatbot in detail here.
