Putin: Russians have a “genetic code of a winner”

Victory-mania is the trump card of Putinism.

No wonder.

It is very easily rubbed into the brains of the population and keeps the people at the required “temperature.”

Victory-mania long ago became Russia’s second religion (and possibly its first).

Putin is hardly so stupid and gray as to believe his own words about Russians possessing some special “genetic code of a winner” unknown to science.

Though that does not matter. He peddles this nonsense, and the dark masses believe it and repeat it.

In reality, russia is one of the most beaten countries in the world.

It has had to “swallow” shameful defeats in dozens of wars and key battles. It has taken bloody slaps from all its neighbors.

Poles, Turks, Swedes, Mongols, and the English, among others, have repeatedly wiped their noses on Russia’s banners.

On its record is the global disgrace of defeat in the Soviet-Polish, First World, Crimean, Afghan, Livonian, Japanese, Chechen, and other wars.

Its relative luck in World War II was the result of Lend-Lease and the power of the entire Anti-Hitler coalition, as Stalin officially acknowledged.

Stalin himself persistently and plainly instructed the Sovok:

“The history of Russia consisted, among other things, in the fact that it was continuously beaten for backwardness. It was beaten by the Mongol khans. It was beaten by the Turkish beys. It was beaten by the Swedish feudal lords. It was beaten by the Polish-Lithuanian pan landlords. It was beaten by the Anglo-French capitalists. It was beaten by the Japanese barons. Everyone beat it, for backwardness. For military backwardness, for cultural backwardness, for state backwardness, for industrial backwardness, for agricultural backwardness.
