Imported gasoline delivered to Russia, including from India and Morocco, has not yet reached the domestic market, reports InfoTEK, citing three industry sources. According to them, the fuel is not being unloaded from tankers in Murmansk because oil companies and regulators cannot agree on a price.

Importers offered AI-92 gasoline at prices ranging from 110,000 to 150,000 rubles per ton, explaining the price by logistics costs and taxes. Regulators, the outlet’s sources claim, insist that the fuel be sold at domestic prices.

Back on July 29, the St. Petersburg Exchange introduced new instruments for trading AI-92 gasoline with the delivery basis “Kola station” in Murmansk Region, but according to an InfoTEK source, trading still has not started. The exchange declined to comment, and the Energy Ministry did not respond to the outlet’s request.

🔵On Wednesday, Bloomberg learned that the first gasoline from India had begun arriving in Russia: the first batch was delivered on August 5 from the Nayara Energy refinery, partly owned by Rosneft.
