❗The Supreme Court rejected Yabloko’s appeal

The decision to remove Yabloko from the State Duma elections is entering into force. However, in the near future the party will file a supervisory complaint with the Presidium of the Supreme Court.

🔵During the hearing, more than 85 people were detained outside the Supreme Court building; some of them have already been released from police custody with a warning.

🔵Yabloko’s appeal was heard by a judge who ruled lawful the exclusion of Navalny from the 2018 presidential election.

🔵During the trial, all of the party’s motions were rejected.

🔵Political scientist Dmitry Oreshkin believes that, despite the outcome of the trial, “a fairly significant blow has been dealt to the system and to Putin personally”.
