TASS writes this.

The Moscow Garrison Military Court sentenced Mikhail Polyakov, administrator of the Telegram channel "Kremlin Laundress," to 11 years in a maximum-security penal colony in the case of extorting the IT company Lanit. He did not admit guilt.

The court also fined Polyakov 800,000 rubles and stripped him of his rank of retired FSB colonel.

According to the prosecution, he published negative materials about Lanit in Telegram channels, after which the company's management was demanded to pay money in exchange for no new similar posts being published. Initially, investigators estimated the amount of the extortion at 42.5 million rubles; later it rose to 50 million.
