In Germany, a hotline has been launched for migrants from Russia who are threatened by special services

It was opened by the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV), Deutsche Welle writes. The agency also released an information brochure describing possible methods of pressure from foreign intelligence services.

In the BfV's view, the number of cases of transnational repression in Germany will grow. Most often, journalists, dissidents, members of the LGBT community, and other people "unwanted" by authoritarian regimes are subjected to it, the publication notes. These people may face threats, surveillance, repression, or attempted abduction, the brochure says.

The hotline operates around the clock, but in the event of an immediate threat, the agency recommends calling the local police department.
