Novaya Gazeta Europe spoke with the young people. One of the students, Alexey, said he received 3,000 rubles, half of which he paid for the dormitory. Once, he was paid 1 ruble for a month of work.

"I left because it was impossible to combine work and studies. I slept two hours a day. It seriously affected my health, both mentally and physically," the young man said.

To live there for a month, according to him, you need at least 50,000 rubles, because "lunches and dinners are very expensive." And the only way to leave the special economic zone is by taxi, which cost from 1,200 rubles round trip.
