In the Kyiv region, after the attack, fires broke out at two fuel infrastructure facilities, warehouses, private houses, and a car, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported. In Kyiv, firefighters are working in three districts at once: Solomianskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, and Darnytskyi. According to Mayor Vitali Klitschko, 12 people were killed and another 33 were injured.

Russia’s Defense Ministry said it had carried out a massive strike with precision weapons on military industry facilities and transport infrastructure in Kyiv and the region, as well as on warehouses. The ministry claims that in the capital the strikes hit the Fire Point enterprise, which produced components for UAVs, the Ukrspetssystems trade and warehouse complex, and an ammunition depot. In the Kyiv region, according to the Defense Ministry, the strikes hit a transport and logistics center in Martusivka and a fuel and lubricants depot in Brovary.
