At the beginning of August, Russia experienced one of the most massive waves of VPN service blocking. One of FBK’s leaders, Leonid Volkov, called the attack “the largest in all of history.”

To find out how this attack differs from the previous ones and whether there is any logic behind Roskomnadzor’s decisions, Meduza asked representatives of four VPN services: Liberty VPN, Amnezia VPN, Paper VPN, and BlancVPN.
