Government proposes new fines for failing to comply with governors’ decisions...

The government is proposing to introduce new fines for failure to comply with decisions by a governor or a regional operational headquarters created by presidential decision. The Cabinet has submitted such a bill to the State Duma, Interfax reports.

Administrative liability is planned for failure to comply with decisions in the sphere of ensuring public order, public safety, carrying out mobilization measures, and implementing measures to meet the needs of the Russian Armed Forces, government bodies, and the needs of the population under the conditions of the “SMO.”

The proposed fines are as follows:

▪️ for individuals — from 3,000 to 5,000 rubles;

▪️ for officials — from 30,000 to 50,000 rubles;

▪️ for legal entities — from 300,000 to 1 million rubles.
