Semyon Slepakov was sentenced in absentia to 400 hours of compulsory labor

A court in Moscow sentenced comedian Semyon Slepakov to 400 hours of compulsory labor under the article on violating the requirements imposed on “foreign agents” (Part 2 of Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code), Mediazona reports.

According to the investigation, Slepakov, “harboring hostility toward the activities of the president of Russia and the armed forces,” published several Instagram posts in January 2026 without the “foreign agent” label. Among those posts was a video of the comedian performing a parody of the song “Matushka-Zemlya” with the line: “Dictatorushki-dictata, eternal little presidentushka!”.

The criminal case against Slepakov became known in April 2026. The prosecutor’s office said that within a year the comedian had twice been brought to administrative responsibility for posting without the “foreign agent” label.
