Most Russians want the war in Ukraine to end. Statements like that are already being made in Kyiv as well. The day before, the Ukrainian president said that more than 60% of Russians want a ceasefire.

TV Rain spoke about this with sociologist Yelena Shtayn, director of the Center for Independent Social Research in Berlin. She said that what Russians want most is peace and prosperity, and even those who support Putin and United Russia want peace. The only question is that everyone interprets “peace” in their own way.
