The court allowed Samara CPRF deputy to run in the State Duma election after he was previously removed over Microsoft copyright infringement

The party channel reported that the Fourth Court of Appeal in Nizhny Novgorod overturned the decision of the Samara Regional Court to remove Mikhail Matveev from the election.

"Thus, Mikhail Matveev's registration as a candidate has been preserved. Mikhail Matveev continues to participate in the State Duma election," they noted there.

🔵Matveev was removed from the election on August 14 following a lawsuit by Party of Pensioners candidate Anna Sarantseva. The reason was copyright infringement involving a Microsoft font and old photos on the politician's website.
