Vladimir outlet Zebra TV retold the governor’s post about a Ukrainian drone attack. Journalists were issued an administrative protocol

The reason for the protocol was a news item with the headline, "A fire started overnight in an apartment building in Vladimir after a drone hit it." The author of the publication retold a post by the region’s head, Alexander Avdeev.

As stated in the protocol, the publication and distribution of this message are prohibited by a decision of the region’s operational headquarters from March 2025. The outlet now faces a fine of up to 200,000 rubles.

The protocol was drawn up following a complaint by Yekaterina Gutsalenko, head of the mass communications department of the governor’s administration. Zebra TV says that after the decision took effect, this same official officially explained to the outlet that quoting the governor’s messages does not violate the ban.
