According to one version, CIA Director John Ratcliffe visited Moscow on August 25 because of Russia’s plans to “test NATO’s strength.” The Wall Street Journal wrote that Ratcliffe may have warned the Kremlin not to attack alliance countries: U.S. intelligence believes Russia may try to “test NATO’s resolve” by carrying out a “limited attack” on one of the countries.
TV Rain spoke with Member of the European Parliament Rasa Jukneviciene about how this information is being perceived in the Baltic states, why people have started talking now about an attack on NATO countries, and whether Ratcliffe’s visit could have played into Russian propaganda.
