More than 2 million military-use goods worth 25 billion rubles were sold on Ozon over the past year

From August 2025 to July 2026, Ozon users ordered dual-use and military-purpose goods worth more than 25 billion rubles. This is shown by internal marketplace analytics data obtained by Verstka.

In total, we counted 33 categories of goods that can clearly be used for combat operations. They can be divided into four classes: military tactical gear, optics, weapon components and attachments, and drones. Over the year, more than 2.13 million units of such goods were ordered on Ozon.

The largest share of orders in monetary terms was for military tactical gear, which includes six product categories: body armor, ballistic helmets, load-bearing systems and battle belts, armor plates and adapters for body armor, as well as neck and shoulder protection. Over the year, marketplace users ordered more than 527,000 such items worth 9.14 billion rubles.

The most popular product in this class is body armor. Dozens of types are available on Ozon at prices ranging from about 17 thousand rubles to 362 thousand rubles. On average, users spent 32.3 thousand rubles on body armor. In total, over the year, almost 157.7 thousand body armor vests worth a combined 5 billion 67 million rubles were ordered.

The second most popular class of goods was military optics, which includes four types of sights (red dot, optical, digital, and thermal), mounts and caps for them, as well as night-vision devices and thermal imagers. Over the year, almost 350,000 such items worth 7.22 billion rubles were ordered on the marketplace.
