A State Duma deputy called people who leave Russia because of possible mobilization unnecessary
This was stated to RTVI by Viktor Sobolev, a member of the State Duma Defense Committee.
“They are not leaving for nothing, we simply do not need them. If they dislike their homeland so much and leave somewhere based only on rumors, then we simply do not need them. So let them leave,” he noted.
In the deputy’s opinion, “there will be no mobilization, because the military enlistment offices of all constituent entities of the Russian Federation are coping with the task assigned by the General Staff to recruit contract servicemen. Therefore, there is no such need as of today.”
