In the Moscow region a man was fined for not reporting to the draft office after receiving a summons through Gosuslugi

The Solnechnogorsk City Court found the man guilty of evading conscription for military service (Part 1, Article 328 of the Russian Criminal Code), the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of the Moscow Region said.

The man received the summons twice: one was delivered "against his personal signature," and the second later appeared on the Gosuslugi website, which, the court noted, was received and read the same day.

The man still did not go to the draft office. The court held that he had no valid reasons or legal grounds for this and fined him 20,000 rubles.

🔵In March, the Russian General Staff clarified that from 2026, conscripts are required to report to the draft office no later than 30 days after a summons is posted in the registry, although they are still sent to their duty stations only twice a year.
