Canadian sanctions were lifted from Chubais without a court ruling, Echo reports
This follows from materials in the court case reviewed by the outlet.
According to them, the court proceedings in which the former head of Rosnano demanded that the Canadian authorities lift sanctions against him ended not with a judge’s ruling, but with an out-of-court settlement. 🔵A notice that Chubais had been removed from the sanctions list because there were “compelling grounds” for doing so was published by the official Canadian government gazette, Canada Gazette, on August 26.
