⚡️Volodymyr Zelensky announced, that Ukraine is closing the skies over Russia and warned the airlines that operate flights to the Russian Federation, as well as insurers, about this.

▪️Dear Ukrainian men and women. Everyone in the world who wants this war to end. You all see that the Russians have changed the tactics of their strikes and since August have been terrorizing our people significantly more.

▪️Since the start of this full-scale aggression, Russia has tried to blockade our ports, and because of Russian strikes on Ukraine, our skies have been closed to civil aviation. Our roads, railways, universities, businesses, schools, and churches are constantly under Russian attack.

▪️We did not choose war and definitely did not want this escalation. This is solely Russia's desire. This escalation cannot and will not remain only on the territory of Ukraine.

▪️It is absolutely natural and fair that its consequences will also be in Russia, particularly in Russian skies.

▪️Today we want to warn every airline that uses Russian airspace, every insurer, everyone who still uses key Russian airports: Russian skies are becoming dangerous.

▪️Ukraine is not threatening civil aviation as such, nor any civilian aircraft. It is simply that drones will be present in Russia's skies in a way that must be taken into account.
