Ukraine “really” proposed a ceasefire regime to Russia during Witkoff and Kushner’s trip, but “drones are flying, you all saw it,” says the head of Ukraine’s Presidential Office
Kyrylo Budanov told journalists this.
According to him, the proposal for a “regime of silence,” which concerned not only strikes on Ukraine but also the front line, was conveyed personally to Vladimir Putin, but there was no response from Russia.
“Drones are flying, you all saw it,” Budanov noted.
The head of the Presidential Office suggested that Russia would refrain from striking Kyiv only during the visit of the U.S. president’s negotiators to Kyiv, which is scheduled for Sunday.
