The Armed Forces of Ukraine cut off the Lyman salient and pushed the Russian Armed Forces back to the Zherebets River, toward the settlements of Nevske and Makiivka, to a front configuration roughly like May 2025. A year of the Russian offensive on this sector went down the drain.
