69 crew members of the Professor Molchanov vessel arrested in Norway have returned to Russia
On September 8, they returned to Russia via Kirkenes, the press service of the governor of Svalbard reported.
🔵Norway arrested the Russian vessel against a debt owed to Ukraine’s Naftogaz. Under a Norwegian court ruling, it now cannot leave its current location, and the governor of Svalbard is required to take measures to prevent it from moving.
🔵Naftogaz, under a ruling by a court in The Hague, is demanding $4.22 billion from Russia as compensation for assets seized in Crimea. Moscow did not recognize the ruling and did not pay the money.
