In Taganrog, after drone attacks, a children’s football club was damaged for the second time, the governor says. Zelensky says a plant producing FPV drones was hit
Rostov region governor Yuri Slyusar said the private children’s football club Avangard had already been hit for a second time. The first time, the owner restored it at his own expense.
A fire also broke out at a food warehouse and at the Svetofor chain wholesale supermarket. According to him, there were no dead or injured.
Two fires have been fully extinguished, and emergency service workers continue to work at the remaining sites, Slyusar added. He did not provide other details.
The city’s head, Svetlana Kambulova, said that as a result of the attacks, 16 buildings and five cars were damaged.
At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says that FPV drone production facilities and UAV storage warehouses were attacked in Taganrog, as well as a petroleum products tank and several military targets. In addition, according to him, two chemical industry enterprises in the Perm and Samara regions were hit over the past day.
