Oligarch’s son and former racing driver Nikita Mazepin may become the new owner of Lesta Games, the company that operates the projects World of Tanks, World of Warships and Tanks Blitz, Forbes writes, citing sources. The deal has not yet been completed, but it is close.

“He got involved in this story among the first, back in the fall of last year. At first the company was valued at 50 billion rubles. But I think the company’s fair value today is 30–35 billion rubles. As far as I know, the documents have already been prepared,” one of the publication’s sources said.

Before the war, Lesta Games was part of Wargaming. In June 2025, a court recognized the company’s owner Malik Khatazhayev and Wargaming founder Victor Kislyi as an “extremist association” and banned their activities in the Russian Federation.

As a result, the company was nationalized, and former VK CEO Boris Dobrodeev became its head.
