The Justice Ministry’s register also added the project Anarchist-35, whose founder the ministry named as Vyacheslav Maltsev, the creator of Artpodgotovka; writer and journalist Mikhail Shevelev; Kazakh opposition figure Yerzhan Turgumbay; and blogger Pavel Ivanov.

On September 16, France nominated Zvyagintsev’s latest film, Minotaur, for the Oscars.

🔵The Russian director’s first film since 2017 premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. It is set after Vladimir Putin announced “partial mobilization” in September 2022. In the plot, Gleb (Dmitry Mazurov), the director of a Russian transport company, learns that his wife Galina (Iris Lebedeva) is cheating on him.

At the same time, he receives an order from the city administration to choose 14 people from among his employees to be sent to the front.
