Director Andrey Zvyagintsev has been declared a “foreign agent”
Zvyagintsev, according to the Justice Ministry, “took part in creating materials by foreign agents” and “undesirable” organizations.
In addition, the Justice Ministry claims, the director “spread false information” about the policies of Russian state bodies and “interacted with foreign agents.”
The “foreign agents” register also now includes:
✹ activist Pavel Ivanov;
✹ politician Yerzhan Turgumbay;
✹ journalist Mikhail Shevelev;
✹ the project “Anarchist-35.”
