The general contractor for the reconstruction of Putin’s palace will build the Russia National Center in Moscow City for 80 billion rubles

The Kremlin tried to conceal the real contractor on one of Moscow’s most complex and largest projects — the construction of the Russia National Center building, worth 80 billion rubles. As Verstka found out, it turned out to be the company Velesstroy, which handled the reconstruction of Putin’s palace near Gelendzhik.

According to Sergei Sobyanin, the center will become one of the most complex structures in the country. Its wave-shaped roof will be almost three times larger than Red Square, and the desired visuals will be projected onto it. Under it, among other things, an amphitheater and a square will be built, which will be turned into a skating rink in winter.

Mosinzhproekt, owned by the Moscow government, was presented as the developer. But the building is being constructed by another entity — it opened a division on the site, is hiring workers there, and is purchasing equipment and materials.

In procurement documents, Verstka found a contract concluded by Mosinzhproekt with Velesstroy for the construction of the Russia National Center.
