Ilya Yashin canceled a trip to Yerevan, where he had planned to go to a polling station. He said he had been warned of a possible “physical threat” in Armenia

Yashin is currently in the United States, from where he had planned to travel to Yerevan and go to a polling station on September 20 to take part “in a big anti-war queue,” as well as to hold a meeting with anti-war Russians.

“However, while I was in Washington, I was warned about certain risks related to my trip to Armenia. I cannot disclose details, but it concerns a physical threat. Unfortunately, I cannot ignore this information and am forced to follow security protocols. Therefore, the trip to Armenia is being postponed, and my participation in the events planned there is canceled,” the politician wrote on his Telegram channel.
