An observer for a St. Petersburg Yabloko candidate lost consciousness during detention

The observer for Olga Yurkevich (215th, Northwestern electoral district) was detained in the morning at polling station No. 1919.
The commission chair accused him of trying to “disrupt the election” and called the police. Interior Ministry officers who arrived at the scene used force against the observer, as a result of which the man lost consciousness. Whether he received timely medical assistance is unknown.
The observer was taken to department No. 86; he is accused of disobeying police orders.
“The administrative case is expected to be heard today by the Primorsky District Court of St. Petersburg,” Yabloko noted.
