Pro-government observers have reported en masse on “high activity” at polling stations. One of them accidentally published the instruction sheet saying what they were supposed to write about it

Pro-government election observers are publishing posts en masse about “high activity” among voters at polling stations. Verstka counted several dozen such posts on VK.

“Residents are actively going to polling stations to cast their votes for the future of the country and our region”; “Despite the day off, voters are voting actively, with families, with children, in a wonderful mood”; “The 2026 elections continue, many residents are voting!” the posts say.

At the same time, some of these messages are completely identical among different observers. For example, identical posts about work at PECs were posted by observers from Tyumen Anna Bondareva and Ekaterina Feoktistova. The first is monitoring elections at PEC No. 1941, and the second at PEC No. 1981.

“High activity in the 2026 elections: people are voting because they believe their vote matters. And that is the most important thing. Have you already made your choice?” the girls’ posts say.

In one such post, Verstka found a technical assignment for observers from United Russia on how to cover the elections. It was published on her VK page by Alexandra Gromachenko, who works at PEC No. 2429 in the city of Nerchinsk in Zabaykalsky Krai.

The young woman posted several photographs from the polling station and also invited her followers to write comments about whether they had already voted, planned to vote, or had not yet decided.

The very next part of the post begins with the words “Technical assignment for the observers themselves!” It says that observers must make posts about PECs closing and opening, “election-support posts over the course of the three days of voting,” “general” publications, posts with photos and videos, as well as a post with the results.

“MANDATORY! Publish a photo post before 12:00 on September 18 saying that many voters have come to the polling stations, and say in it that making one’s choice on the first day of voting frees up the weekend for personal matters,” the technical assignment says.
