Russian users report problems accessing the App Store
Since the beginning of September 20, the service “Sboy.rf” has recorded more than 470 complaints. They are coming mainly from Moscow. The cause of the outage is unknown.
Downdetector404, for its part, has not recorded a mass increase in complaints. The site notes that problems with the App Store began for some users the day before. At the same time, the Downdetector404 tag cloud on the App Store page displays “not working.”
The availability of Apple’s official website and its App Store in Russia dropped sharply in July. At the time, the access problems were linked to the possibility that Russian authorities had imposed restrictions in response to the removal of VK apps from Apple’s store.
