“What are they doing in Moscow? A representative of the administration, by infiltrating the remote electronic voting system, personally and deliberately introduced a malicious program into the remote electronic voting system in order to stop its operation — a representative of a systemic party,” said Ella Pamfilova, head of the Central Election Commission.

According to her, she will deliberately not name the person or the party.

Pamfilova also said that attacks on remote electronic voting “were carried out mainly from abroad,” listing the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Brazil, Indonesia, “and even India.”

During the briefing, the head of the Central Election Commission called reports of observers being barred en masse from polling stations “fake,” said that Russians abroad “are taking part in a dirty game against their country,” and added that “Russia’s enemies cannot understand it.”
