“We have already exceeded turnout compared with the equivalent peacetime elections of 2021,” RIA Novosti quotes Central Election Commission head Ella Pamfilova as saying.
Turnout in the State Duma elections had reached 52.64% as of 15:18, according to data on the Central Election Commission website. In the 2021 elections, it was 51.72%.
