RIA Novosti published a column by Alexander Nosovich under the headline “Russia Is Facing Another Special Military Operation. It Will Be Very Short.”

The piece discusses the potential possibility of Lithuania deploying nuclear weapons on its territory and Russia’s response. In the author’s view, in that case the Russian Federation might even refrain from sending in ground troops and instead immediately strike with missiles “with the appropriate payload.”

In the column, Nosovich calls Lithuania “a brainless suicide country” and says that the special military operation in Lithuania “will be very short.”

Obviously it will be quick: a military conflict in the Baltics, simply because of geography, cannot be the same as in Ukraine
