At several precincts in St. Petersburg, Yabloko candidates received 0 votes. Their voters and fellow party members say they voted for them

In Pushkinsky District, 18 election commissions reported that Dmitry Khorzov, a candidate for the State Duma in Southern single-member district No. 218, had allegedly received from zero to eight votes. United Russia representative Vitaly Milonov also ran in the same district.

For example, at one precinct in Pushkin and one precinct in Aleksandrovskaya, not a single vote for Khorzov was counted. At the same time, voters who had cast their ballots for him at those precincts contacted Khorzov’s team. The Yabloko candidate said he believed these discrepancies indicated vote theft. Khorzov’s team urged their voters to contact the commissions and demand that the votes be checked and recounted.

A similar situation happened with another Yabloko candidate, Mikhail Butorin.

The head of the city election commission, Maksim Meiksin, told journalists that it was impossible to check this because of ballot secrecy.
