“They didn’t catch me in order to let me go.” Olga Shchekina on detentions and being abducted after her arrest

Olga Shchekina from Donetsk said that Russian security forces detained her several times, tortured her, and tried to recruit her. According to the woman, on September 17, after 10 days of administrative arrest in Rostov-on-Don, two masked men abducted her outside a police building and took her to Donetsk.

In a conversation with Vot Tak, Shchekina also said that the men introduced themselves as FSB officers.

💬 “We have different functions. Some people investigate, some carry out operational-search measures, and we deliver. Think of us as pizza delivery guys. You were ordered, we delivered you,” Shchekina quotes the abductors as saying.
