We have already written that the Third Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is conducting a successful offensive operation, “Vivaldi,” in the Lyman direction. The settlements of Novoselivka, Oleksandrivka, Yarova, Serednie, Shandryholove, Ridkodub, Nove, and Katerynivka have been cleared and liberated. Several thousand Russian soldiers have been killed, and more than 250 laid down their arms and replenished the exchange fund.

First and foremost, this success is thanks to Ukrainian soldiers on the front line and the properly planned actions of the Ukrainian command. But one must not forget the contribution of the leadership of the Russian Armed Forces’ 20th and 25th Combined Arms Armies, who are sending false reports about the situation in the sector up the chain of command.

While Ukrainian troops were advancing farther and farther east, toward the Zherebets River, Putin personally announced the “capture” of Sviatohirsk. The funniest thing is that the Russian Ministry of Defense is still claiming that the rear Ukrainian city of Sviatohirsk is under Russian control.

Lying is literally the main glue of Putin’s system. Generals received medals for false reports about taking Sviatohirsk, while in reality Russian troops are retreating and losing captured territories with enormous losses. All of this ends in chaotic attempts to fit reality to the “captures” already drawn on maps and to try to seize what has already been declared seized. And that means more and more Russian soldiers will be driven into meat assaults.
