Prosecutors have sought 12 years for a St. Petersburg resident over three reposts from the Ukrainian agency UNIAN

Thirty-six-year-old St. Petersburg resident Yegor Gulyaev is accused of spreading military “fakes” motivated by “political hatred” over three reposts made in 2022. Mediazona reports this.

The UNIAN agency posts discussed the shooting of a column of women and children during the evacuation from the village of Peremoha, the killing of Dragomanov National Pedagogical University student Anastasia Tagirova, and violence against children from a UN report.

Gulyaev stated in court that he does not feel hatred toward Russian servicemen. According to the man, he has relatives in Zaporizhzhia with whom he is in close contact, and he made the reposts out of compassion and because of stress.

Before his detention, Gulyaev worked as a dispatcher at a car alarm service company.
