Businesses will receive tax breaks if they build structures to protect against Ukrainian drones — and donate them to the state
Owners of Russian private enterprises will be able to receive a profit-tax benefit if they ensure protection of their facilities from UAVs. This is provided for by a bill that the government submitted to the State Duma. The Faridaily project drew attention to the document.
When calculating profit tax, it will be possible to include expenses for purchasing special equipment to protect against drones, building special facilities, and paying the people who will be on duty at these facilities.
But there is a condition: to receive the benefit, these special facilities and special equipment will have to be transferred to the state free of charge, and only military personnel, members of the security services, Rosgvardia, or the Emergency Situations Ministry may be hired for duty at them.
In late August, Vladimir Putin signed a decree allowing temporary administration to be introduced at critical infrastructure facilities whose owners do not protect them from threats, including attacks by Ukrainian drones.
