The Russian Armed Forces carried out new drone strikes on Ukrainian cities. In Kyiv, one Russian drone hit a school building in the Solomianskyi district, city mayor Vitali Klitschko said. According to him, children and teachers were in a shelter at the time of the attack and were not injured
Also, because of the drone attack overnight on October 1, a fire broke out on the first floor of a 16-story residential building in the Solomianskyi district, and cars parked near the building caught fire. In the Obolonskyi district, a fire broke out at warehouses because of drone strikes, Klitschko said. Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported that one person was injured.
In Odesa, a business center was hit overnight on October 1. According to local authorities, one person was injured. The head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, also said that “infrastructure was damaged” in the city as a result of the Russian attack, without giving details.
