HIV, cirrhosis, stroke, ulcer, epilepsy — still fit for assaults.

A telling example of how people are treated in the Russian Armed Forces.

Nikolai has been serving in the Russian army since 2023. During that time, he managed to contract HIV, hepatitis C, and cirrhosis of the liver. Instead of being discharged, he was transferred to the notorious 1427th Motorized Rifle Regiment, where he was beaten and had his Adam’s apple broken.

On the way to the hospital, he suffered a stroke, and after that he began having epileptic seizures. Even that is still not enough to get out of the Russian army. Instead of discharging Nikolai, they listed him as absent without leave because he had been receiving treatment for “too long.”

And now it has suddenly emerged that, according to Russian military documents, Nikolai has allegedly been absent without leave since May 6.

He has now been detained again and taken to Kursk Oblast. Where exactly he is being held is not really being explained. For the fourth day already, he has been in a tree line without clothes.

Illness Still Counts As Combat Fitness

Nikolai, despite severe diagnoses, was detained again and taken to Kursk Oblast

Discharge apparently needed one more corpse.
