Detentions of Communist Party rally participants. The main points

At least 15 people detained after the Communist Party rally were left in police stations overnight. People were taken, among other places, to the Presnensky, Tagansky, Meshchansky, and Krasnoselsky police departments.

Some rally participants were detained for 48 hours, until court, SOTAvision clarifies.

What did the Communist Party rally participants demand?

On October 4, the Communist Party held an event in memory of those killed during the storming of the White House in 1993. It had been approved by the authorities.

The rally began with criticism of the “Anglo-Saxons,” and then participants marched and began chanting:

📣 “We want freedom”

📣 “Down with Roskomnadzor”

📣 “No to political repression”

📣 “Freedom for political prisoners”

📣 “Down with the party of crooks and thieves”

According to ASTRA, after the slogan “Down with the tsar!” security officers began roughly detaining people. About 60 people were detained in total.
