Billionaire Sergey Shishkarev has sold his main asset, the logistics group Delo. And promised to donate a significant share of the money to “national security needs”

Rosatom will become the new owner of Shishkarev’s stake in Delo. The amount of the deal has not been officially disclosed; according to RBC, the businessman’s stake was valued at 77 billion rubles, or more than 900 million dollars.

In his Telegram channel, Shishkarev wrote that he would direct a “significant share” of the proceeds from the sale “to national security needs.”

Delo Group was Shishkarev’s main asset; the businessman owned 51% of the holding. Rosatom previously owned 49%, and in 2025 Kommersant wrote that Shishkarev wanted to buy out the state monopoly’s stake.

Amid a shortage of funds to continue the war, Russian authorities regularly force major Russian businessmen to make “voluntary donations” to the budget. This idea was first voiced by Vladimir Putin at a meeting with big business in March. Since then, monthly receipts from “voluntary donations” have amounted to hundreds of billions of rubles.
