Rosneft refinery began looking for crews for anti-aircraft systems to protect itself from drones
The Kuibyshev Oil Refinery in Samara, which is part of Rosneft, posted vacancies on HeadHunter for crew members for an anti-aircraft system and an infantry fighting vehicle to protect against UAV attacks. Verstka noticed the postings.
Both vacancies were published on October 8. The first says the applicant will serve as part of the crew of a Shilka self-propelled anti-aircraft gun system (BM ZSU-34-23-4 Shilka). The second concerns service on a BMP-2 Berezhok armored vehicle.
The candidate is required to sign a contract with the Defense Ministry to be in the mobilization manpower reserve, as well as undergo specialty training and combat coordination. The work will be as part of an on-duty crew and “to serve as part of the BMP crew in barracks mode during training assemblies.” In addition, a general secondary or secondary vocational education is required.
The employee’s duties include “protecting defense industry facilities” in Samara Region, destroying aerial targets, and “maintaining the readiness of weapons and the serviceable technical condition” of the combat vehicle. The workplace is listed as 25 Groznenskaya Street, where the refinery itself is located.
For its part, the plant promises a salary of 120,000 rubles, as well as payments from the governor and the Defense Ministry according to position and rank: 100,000 rubles and from 29,000 rubles respectively. Candidates will be housed in a hostel, given three meals a day, and provided mandatory health and life insurance, the vacancy descriptions say.
Both vacancies have already been hidden from HeadHunter search and moved to the archive. When following direct links, the service warns that “the employer has probably already found the right candidate and is no longer accepting applications for this vacancy.”
🟪The Kuibyshev refinery is one of the largest oil refineries in the Volga region. During the war, it has repeatedly been attacked by Ukrainian drones.
🟪The authorities allowed businesses to purchase large-caliber weapons to protect against drone attacks, RBC wrote in May, citing sources. Such weapons include anti-aircraft artillery systems, motor vehicles, and turrets. Before that, according to the outlet’s source, private companies could buy only light small arms.
