Yandex added a clause to its user agreement describing the grounds for exemption from liability for failure to fulfill obligations
It lists force majeure circumstances, which include, in particular, terrorist attacks carried out with the use of drones, as well as “missile weapons and other means of attack.”
Yandex told RBC that the company is bringing the agreement’s provisions “into a unified form across all services.” The press service noted that provisions on force majeure circumstances are provided for under current legislation and are already included in the terms of use of many Yandex services.
